Gerrard has been brilliant at Rangers. 3rd the season before he joined, he sorted out their defence (they conceded 50 in 17-18, compared to 29 last season) and finished 2nd, now they look like pushing Celtic for the title.

If anything it had the look and feel of a League 2 v Premier League side in the FA Cup 3rd Round. Man Utd the plucky lower league side holding their own against the big boys of Liverpool. Liverpool played down to United's level because they weren't up for it and nearly came unstuck. They would have won the game too had it not been for VAR.
