oh so just a couple of issues thenhowser wrote:There are only possibly three reasons why the "record deal" could not come to fruition:-

wonder which of those 2, sorry 3, that it was that couldn't be overcome

Getting fukking bored of hearing that now. It just makes us look like arseholes. I know that the tiresome RTGs will say that it's good that we aren't prepared to budge and pay a penny over what we think a player is worth, but when your record Premier league purchase is a good £3.5m short of the next nearest low record signing by a rival PL club, it goes to show that perhaps you haven't got the best grip on market values.cmonurz wrote:Again.RoyalSheep wrote:Director of Football Nick Hammond said, "Myself, Brian and Anton have been working throughout the day on one last record deal to bring a player to the club but it hasn't come to fruition.
Greaaaaat.
Just didn't work out.
Again.
Funny that.

This is the guy who engineered his transfer to Anzhi just a year into a new 4.5 year deal at Blackburn - denying that move was for money he said Anzhi matched his 'ambition' before moving to a team seemingly destined for relegation into the Championship, just a year later.TBM wrote:Not really? - QPR can then sell at their price and he can't ask to leave for nothing....MmmMonsterMunch wrote:No relegation clause for Samba on a 4 and half year deal. Yeah he'll be gone but the "unbelievable" statement about no release clause isn't so much so.......QPR don't have to sell, if they do they hold the cards......Samba will pick up £100k a week for 4 years, so why would he be interested in leaving them by insisting a release clause.cmonurz wrote:This is the guy who engineered his transfer to Anzhi just a year into a new 4.5 year deal at Blackburn - denying that move was for money he said Anzhi matched his 'ambition' before moving to a team seemingly destined for relegation into the Championship, just a year later.TBM wrote:Not really? - QPR can then sell at their price and he can't ask to leave for nothing....MmmMonsterMunch wrote:No relegation clause for Samba on a 4 and half year deal. He'll be gone if they go down, and QPR won't recoup £12m for him as a Championship club.
