Because the FA's track record with recruitment is exemplary.sandman wrote:Here's hoping.paultheroyal wrote:Our PA announcer is so shit he has now been called up by the FA to compere the England game on Friday. This bloke is going places.

Perhaps he meant the sort of tin can that Major Tom would float around. I think those are big enough for a million wasps to be able to fly freely around, but small enough that several would hit the sides in confusion every second.Maneki Neko wrote:how big is the tin can?
even in the largest jumbo sized, commercial kitchen sized can, a million wasps would be so squashed in, the only sound to escape would, at its best, be a mere muted hum, which is a strange sound for a troupe of drummers to make
A lot of weeks so far!Pandoras Box wrote:Slightly off topic but......
1. Didn't happen Friday (as the music was so quiet) - but who is the nob that pulls the jack plug out (or sticks it in) of the tannoy system while on full volume just before half time every match so every one jumps ten feet out of their seat.
2. Why put Sweet Caroline on 10 seconds before either kick off and never get to the chorus. On Friday it seemed the ref embarrassingly held the second half up so the chorus could come on!
How many weeks will it take to learn how to do either properly?
Well, if they're going to continue being a shambles cutting off the music awkwardly, playing very little of it and continuing to play it after kick off... I think it's time to work out the experiment in originality was shit. Also, the song is shit.Nameless wrote:RFC get slated for being unoriginal. All songs at football are shit. Just listen to the fans for 90 minutes for evidence of that !Ian Royal wrote:Well, if they're going to continue being a shambles cutting off the music awkwardly, playing very little of it and continuing to play it after kick off... Three seconds more like, all we got last night was "HHHHAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN" - poor old Neil didn't even get to finish the first word before he was cut off.Pandoras Box wrote:Pandoras Box wrote:Slightly off topic but......

And there we go again tonight, m'lud. I rest my case.....although to be fair, the nob fvcked about with the jack plug at half time but ensured it was twice the volume than normal and there were probably just three words sung of sweet Caroline before second half kick off.
