+1 that’s what I’m cross about. Hunt should have gone. But to replace him with this clown? Should have just kept him.
I was shocked to see Richardsons' name come up amongst the potential new managers being touted. Couldn't believe it when he got appointed.
95% of people here had barely heard of him. I can probably pick out the posts when it became clear he was favourite.

Odd that a club that had such success with McGhee, Pardew and McDermott would be quite so sniffy. Imagine if we’d gone for Skurbura - place would have kicked off!

A fucking PE teacher??!?
I had. Remember when he joined Paul Cook as assistant at Pompey.
At least they managed to get them out of league two I suppose.
Difference with the the three previous managers you mentioned, both McGhee and Pardew had played at the top level of their respective domestic leagues while McDermott had an affiliation with the club with previous stints as chief scout and youth team/ reserve manager.

Could be gone soon according to latest reports on Twitter. Bust up in the changing room between players and manager after yesterday's match. "Lost the dressing room" etc

Examples below - decide for yourselves if the sources are reliable/the same person etc:

Well at least one is Brogue, maybe more

Tbh if they had a big bust up then so what? They probably should after a performance like that - rather that than then all high fiving and slapping each other on the backs

It might even give LR more sway to get rid of some who he doesn’t want and back up his case that the players aren’t good enough

If there was a bust up it's probably those who want to play proper football and don't buy in to the manager's tactics who had the hump. If they are the ones he wants to get rid of, God help us.

Thing is, I'd love this to be true but there isn't enough evidence that this isn't made up bollocks, suggested that Wing and Williams made their own way back by train on the back of this and Wing was slagging off the fans.

Evidence for this, picture of Williams on the train in Reading kit, no picture or audio of Wing, so theoretically Williams might have just had some other commitment and Wing might not have even been on the train, it just sounds more credible to say the team captain went up by train as well even though there isn't currently any evidence for that.

Bust ups happen probably a lot more in the game that you’d probably ever know though. Is this a storm in a teacup, or reaching no going back or just something that didn’t happen at all. Take your pick. My guess is we’ll never know and Leam will still be here next year.

Yes

Actually I’d be annoyed if there wasn’t a big bust up after the game tbh

Hopefully lots of truths were told and there will be a reaction

Would think players 'making their own way' to long distant away games is not a good way to prepare for a match.

OUT!

Just for the fact that Leam plays Will Keane and tonight in the U21 game Sean 'recalled from Aldershot and hardly ever plays' Patton got 2 goals

There is video evidence this time so it's definitely true Patton scored a couple of goals (unlike the "Lewis Wing is slagging off the fans" rumour from the weekend which has less photographic evidence than Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster)

If Stevenage win tonight (although Bolton A, but they may start resting key players for play-offs)) its definitely over and it will be interesting to see team selection for the remaining 3 games.....if LR persists with loanees like Keane & Young and we see none of the higher performing academy players at least on the bench, I will be very disappointed indeed.

That's one of my gripes with him, seems to have discarded the youngsters, Abrefa, Ahmed, Camara, Rusheda for example, he's even binned Patton off after recalling him from a successful loan.
Can't see that changing whether we have anything to play for or not.

I have no gripes with that, Abrefa, Ahmed, Camara and Rushesha have all shown they aren't good enough, so why waste any further time with them? If they go on and make it at our level or above, more fool us but I just can't see it.

He's probably also under a huge amount of pressure (not just from fans) from the owners as they're intent and focussed on promotion. So them, the investors are all probably saying "You're here to get us promoted - go and do it" - so to them try to pick out youngsters, who didn't cost the club any real money, would be risky.

Tbf isn’t Ahmed 17 or something? Loads of time left. I like Abrefa and think he should have been first choice, the other 2 yes. Not up to div1

He's also on loan at Forest Green, so would say he's unlikely to appear on Saturday.

In terms of the others mentioned, I think Abrefa has had his chance in the early part of the season and wasn't good enough. Seemed to make a mistake in every game that led to a goal. Surprised that Camara is being suggested, he had plenty of chances last season and was in the most part, pretty poor. Most seem to be surprised he got as many chances as he did. Rushesha - sorry, not at the required level.

Would like to see more of Patton though. Don't know enough about the rest to have an opinion.

Rushesha is bang-average. Not ever been entirely convinced by Camara, but arguably made more impact than Lane and inarguably Keane. Like both Abrefa and Ahmed. Ahmed has the bigger ceiling IMO, Abrefa started the season brilliantly, but is inconsistent. Mid-low L1 is about his level. Personally I'd like to see Ahmed with a full pre-season given a chance next season, though I suspect Leam will target a more established RB.
