RTFC were due to travel down to Hereford to play Pegasus Jrs but this game was postponed - to late April I think - because the Supplementary Cup Tie v Finchampstead took precedence.Tad Showbiz wrote:Interesting to note from FoC's (p)review that neither Shrivenham or Reading Town played on Saturday so unless Shrivenham played in some local county cup competition surely it would have been better for them to play each other then than Reading Town make the journey down there this Wednesday evening?
Yup sinking ever further into oblivion now - they still have two games in hand on Bps Stortford and Thurrock but are 6 & 3 points behind them respectively - so need points fast. Also Maidenhead got beat again, think they're really up against it now to beat relegation.
The door may be opening for Farnborough. Was quite impressed by what they had done to their ground when we visited in pre-season so hopefully they would be allowed up should they get promotion.readingfc13 wrote:Lewes 2-1 Braintree
Come on you Yellows!
You'd have thought a club forced to fold due to spending above your means might have learnt some lessons. The money they were throwing around last season was ridiculous. I imagine it's the same this season.Rev Algenon Stickleback H wrote:I actually saw them draw with last-placed St Albans on Saturday, and it wasn't in any way flattering to St Albans. I'm not surprised they lost tonight.
Starting to look good for Farnborough, but I've heard rumours that the money has long since run out at the club, and even if they do go up, "survival" could mean rather more than trying to finish above 22nd.
Bet Maiders have no such luck up there on Saturday!AndyRFC wrote:Maidenhead sink to bottom. Thanks Braintree you absolute donkeys.
