He is world class for me. It was the game they played against Sheff Utd the other week on the TV and Roy Keane said that when he picked the ball up 25 yards from goal, cut inside and scored, it was basically a tap in for him, you knew he was going to score.

There aren't many players in the world who you'd say that about.
Kane to Man City in the summer to fill the Agureoooooooo position ?
I think it would take a lot of money to get Levy to let him go, but it isn't outside the realms of possibility. If he stays in the Prem, he'll beat Shearer's scoring record, for sure.
Just seems to me that the improvement in his game OUTSIDE the box now makes him a perfect City fit.
(But then I thought they needed to get Harry Maguire, so what do I know)

You're right about the £'s, though

And if he went there he may get even more opportunities, helping him on his way to break Shearer's record

Quite a bit of rumour today about Nagelsmann having "admirers" at Spurs

Eric Dier.................................again.
He seems to think that a central defender's job is to stand and watch the opposition striker score.
Terrible defender.

2 goals and a (delightful) assist for Spurs today from Bale. Earning himself a permanent move back?

Would be another loan. No way he takes that wage cut a year early.

Bale plays for Bale. Done nothing all season; Madrid were obviously right.

Easy against poor opposition on a sunny afternoon

Struggling to see how 1 decent performance against weak opposition after 6 months of fcuk all justifies a move.

It's like a 70s game show at the end when they show you the sports car you could have won as you cradle your teasmaid.

Another brace today, might not be the strongest opposition but you can only beat (score) what’s put in front of you. Will be a big decision going into the off season as to whether they keep him or not.

Kane also continuing his monster season 2 goals and 2 assists today. 16 goals and 13 assists for the season so far in the Prem.

They have an excellent recruitment team at Leipzig headed by Paul Fletcher (iirc)

I'm not sure he will have continued success without this. Relatively average 40% win rate at Hoffenheim but would say he did fairly well with them

You see, I’m confused as I’d heard from so many places that Mourinho was going to ruin Kane as his teams don’t attack?

Indeed, especially as they’ve now scored 100 goals this season in all comps - https://twitter.com/optajoe/status/1368 ... 27777?s=21
100 - Harry Kane's second goal of the evening was Tottenham's 100th goal in all competitions this season, becoming the second club in Europe's big-five leagues to reach that tally in 2020-21, after Bayern Munich (106). Century.

Impressive!

A better defence and they’d have a chance of the league IMO

No offence to Benteke but him scoring is rare nowadays, says a lot about their defence, especially seeing how much space he was left in

Never forget when Paul Merson said "Harry Kane won't score goals in a Jose Mourinho team".

His 1st goal today was fcuking ridiculous!
