Wouldn't fancy standing in that top tier where the away fans are put-even sitting it can be a case of vertigo taking over.

Anfield Road - On course to be ready for the start of the 2023/24 season. A soon as the last home game is finished, cranes move on to the pitch to dismantle the old roof and also remove 2000 seats from the existing upper tier (no more restricted views at the back of the lower tier). Then 9000 new seats added to the back of what's left of the existing upper tier.

Bramley Moore Dock - Not due to be finished until the start of the 2024/25 season. Fans concerned the build will stop if the club is relegated to the Championship, and with FFP investigations ongoing. The club are yet to confirm next season will be the last at Goodison, which has left the fans a little nervous over the uncertainty, even prior to the latest relegation battle.

Went past Bramley Moor last week when on the metro to Aintree. Impressive from a distance, they've done very well with the location.

Walked up to it a few months ago from the city centre. It is indeed a cracking spot, and it's much closer to the city than Goodison, but the immediate surrounding area is pretty unloved. Be interesting to see what sort of development happens between Bramley Moore and Pier Head.

That plans for that area are what lead to Liverpool losing UNESCO world heritage status. The whole area up towards the city centre is being redeveloped.

Luton have released what plans they'll have in the event they are promoted to the Premier League with the need to bring Kenilworth Road up to PL standard. Copied and pasted from another website;

New planning application has been submitted for new floodlights at Kenilworth Road giving a bit more of an idea on the potential improvements, the new floodlights include two sets of lights on top of both the Oak Road and Kenilworth End roof, both with supporting columns, because more pillars is exactly what Kenilworth Road needs.

The elevation drawings also show some of the work, mainly new media/broadcast facilities to be build in the corner between the Kenilworth end and the boxes, as there is currently space where the former terrace ran all the way to be level with the rear of the boxes, but the current seats go up to the pitch touchline.

The front elevation of the boxes show no change, but presumably those aren't included in this application, however the rear does include a series of new doors. It sounds like this is where the majority of extra pitch seating/facilities will be included, which is the only logical place for them, as to put them in the very cramped main stand would mean losing a substantial amount of seats.

Wow, had no idea this even existed. We're flying out of Valencia this summer and had planned a trip to the Mestalla to kill some time before our evening flight. It's only 13 minutes drive NW to the Nou Mestalla. Should be able to sell the idea to Mrs WJ with those rather nice scalloped top-tiers.

It’ll never be finished either. They’re in the planning phase for another new ground.

Watched City at Barcelona a few years ago with the away fans on the top tier - fourth I think, a kind of additional tier or lip that sits on half of the stadium), and there were some proper wobbly knees as I came out of the concourse to find my seat. Looking forward, just down, down forever. Behind me, not much more than a thin wall and then the city skyline beyond. Stunning but terrifying.
