I see this as a form of humblebragging - "I can afford to drink overpriced underwhelming beer whilst simultaneously not watching the overpriced underwhelming event I've paid to watch - throw in the train fare as well and I've spent £100 to stare at breeze-blocks, but I don't care, that's how "in" I am".

How much of the match do you watch from the concourse?

With the mammoth queues at half time, and draconian drinking laws in the "main bowl", I've often spent 20-30 minutes of a match watching the game from the concourse. And I've enjoyed every minute of it - noone telling you to sit down and you can drink while you watch the match.

How much of the match do you usually catch "down under"?

sometimes leave the second half a couple of mins early to get a drink

otherwise don't really miss any of the game tbh

I haven't been drinking since 10 on a "normal" day.

Occasionally i nip into the Jazz for a beer/ pee then get back outside for a ciggie or two. I turn up late for the second half sometimes to the annoyance of those in my row.

I always think that I wouldn't want it happening to me, so why should I inflict it on others. Plus being 6ft 5 it tends to affect the row behind as well
