I just rung up the club and they moved me there. Also, gave me £50 refund as well which is a result.

It's quite amusing how rattled the Y25 and 26ers are over the South Stand having a second singing area.

Grow up! The more noise the better!!

I stood on the South Bank from 92 and I loved it. I was hooked the minute the first chorus of "Super Reading" went up. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up! I've also enjoyed, although sadly a lot less, Y25 and 26 over the years, but I'm happy to give this a go.

The more noise around the bowl the better,

And to tip the moaners over the edge, there's going to be either another drummer, or the existing one may come across!

It's because you have to be between 18 and 71 to join the club. Insurance reasons.

Spoke with someone I work with who also runs the line at Championship matches. He gets £319 a game for running the line. He made a point of saying how he hates running the line at Reading because of the lack of atmosphere but did say the club always look after him.

Anyway I hope Club 1871 continues to grow so that we engender some kind of atmosphere next season.
