If he has a hernia, I expect it will be another couple of months at least.royalp-we wrote:Anyone got an idea when Puscas is back? I’d much rather see him come off the bench tomorrow. Baldock will get bullied by Brum.
Depends if it needs surgery I think. Could be before Christmas if not was the suggestion from PaunoHendo wrote:If he has a hernia, I expect it will be another couple of months at least.royalp-we wrote:Anyone got an idea when Puscas is back? That would be a bonus if so.Hound wrote:Depends if it needs surgery I think. As I understand things, Puscas has a “sports” hernia and the club are assessing things to see if it “settles down” or whether surgery will be needed. Return date unspecified.Hendo wrote:If he has a hernia, I expect it will be another couple of months at least.royalp-we wrote:Anyone got an idea when Puscas is back? Judging by his Instagram that hernia was from hitting the weights too hard.Sutekh wrote:As I understand things, Puscas has a “sports” hernia and the club are assessing things to see if it “settles down” or whether surgery will be needed. I don't see him replacing Laurent or Rinomhota.Chameleon wrote:Swift coming back will be great. Realistically he can rotate into any of Olise, Ejaria, Laurent, and Rino's positions (plus Meite's at a stretch). Between the packed fixture list and his talent it's hard not to see him playing the majority of games that he's fit for.
Yep. He is there to create so it will be one of Ejaria or Olise that will make way for him in the latter stages of matches.bcubed wrote:I don't see him replacing Laurent or Rinomhota.Chameleon wrote:Swift coming back will be great. Those two have formed a great partnership in midfield, given us some much needed solidity and together have been the difference from last year. I'm not sure we have ready replacements for either.
I'd have Swift on the bench to start, where he could be a useful option for Ejaria
and possibly for Olise too.
He'd do a reasonable job if one of Rino or Laurent got injured though... or for one them if we need to press for a winner and are in control.Zip wrote:Yep. Joao spent the last five minutes barely walking. Looked like his hamstring was playing up.mumbo-jumbo wrote:So what is supposed to have happened to Joao? Must have missed that
Understand Meite had a clash with keeper (? head ? knee) but why is everyone talking about them both being out? Will be tough if that's the case
Oh dear, bad news indeed. 6 weeks without him could see us really sliding south in the tableZip wrote:Joao spent the last five minutes barely walking. Looked like his hamstring was playing up.mumbo-jumbo wrote:So what is supposed to have happened to Joao? Must have missed that

I'm fairly sure there would have been more rotation and protection if Puscas was fit. One injury has basically increased the risk of another.windermereROYAL wrote:Is that 3 hamstring injuries now since Joao has been here? clearly walking a tight rope every time he crosses that white line.
yep that pretty much.WestYorksRoyal wrote:I'm fairly sure there would have been more rotation and protection if Puscas was fit. So he will miss QPR and Norwich. Far from ideal.Mid Sussex Royal wrote:Yaks back "stronger and soon" according to his twitter message so maybe a week?
Much better than I thought when I saw the clash and him holding his kneeZip wrote:So he will miss QPR and Norwich. Far from ideal.Mid Sussex Royal wrote:Yaks back "stronger and soon" according to his twitter message so maybe a week?
Have we had any sort of confirmation on whether he is definitely out?Zip wrote:Joao spent the last five minutes barely walking. Looked like his hamstring was playing up.mumbo-jumbo wrote:So what is supposed to have happened to Joao? Must have missed that
