Thought the ref started OK.. but he's losing the plot. Sending off NGW, then Bindon diving header at a foot gets a free kick.

Proper missed opportunity to really cement a playoff hope here

3 clear with 4 to play ain't the worst place to be.

BUT never once got into gear today.

the one big chance that came our way, Savage screwed wide.

Point gained really. Now a 3 point gap over the chasing pack. Next up mid table Lincoln at home on Friday afternoon.

4 points from 2 away games always a good return. 7 points from our final 4 should be enough; fair play to Orient or Bolton if they overhaul that.

windermereROYAL Could be an issue with Pereira, Button fielding shots in the warm up.

Earnshaw -

Pereira receiving a signed shirt for his 50th appearance. Felt his abductor in the warm up and will be assessed tomorrow. Is strapped up but looked good today

It’s a useful point if a missed opportunity to really get a comfortable 5pt lead to 7th

The game itself was proper dull. Almost fell asleep in the warm sun during half time and not a lot in the second did a lot to wake me up. Savage chance aside

Didn’t really like the subs today, but too obvious and preplanned. Wareham was offering more than Bodin was ever going to and Kelvin was stronger than Campbell who kept getting in good positions and doing nothing. Camara was decent though

The yiadom sub sucked as well. Pointless and he was a bit useless when he came on. Should have put on Garcia if anything and switched Abrefa

Anyway on to the next one

My 9 year old son's first away game so I'm quoting him here - "decent performance, world's worst ref, great atmosphere".

It's lucky he loves football and watching Reading because today was proper dull. Our passing was off all game - lots of over hit passes going out of play or sailing over Wareham's head.

Northampton tried to slow the game down horribly for the last 10 minutes and didn't offer much of a threat.

Our back 4 looked solid again, apart from Bindon trying to dribble his way past 2 and then losing it.

7 points from 3 games is good though.

Three wins out of the 4 remaining and we should be in the playoffs! Shame about our goal difference though which may still come to haunt us. Three of the teams left to play have nothing really to play for, which should make Brizzle Rovers the toughest of the four remaining and teams fighting relegation are the worst to play however, they could be relegated by the time we play them.
Its going to be a fun few weeks especially throwing in the takeover or end of existence.....

Win at home, draw away and the only way someone beats us to 6th is with 4 wins.

Not a bad place to be.
