It’s ridiculously early, but that was dire.
So sloppy in possession and defending way too deep. Early impressions:

Lisbie was ok going forward, but he was so lazy defensively, never tracking back and leaving Ahmed two on one repeatedly.
Williams and Lane are not left backs.
Savage and Wing playing individually.
Is Kelvin E ever going to find a position?

For context, a Farnborough guy behind me was saying that their outfield 10 had never played together before.

Though it is pre-season so all of the above is utterly meaningless.

Daka is youth midfielder who has just signed his first professional deal at 16.

One of the academy lads. He played for Zambia at the U17 World Cup last year and played a few times for the U18s last season.

I think he's sixteen and is an attacking midfielder/winger.

Hydration breaks are perfectly acceptable when it's 30-odd Celsius (like today). I remember our U21s playing Basingstoke about ten years ago in an early pre-season game and there were hydration breaks.

What's not acceptable is having them when there's no need for them: like when it's 20C in an air conditioned stadium.
