It had some weird rings in the north west corner, some grassy disease or something

The pitch on Saturday looked emaculate bar a square in front of the North Stand goal. Is this tactical? or are the egg-chasers training there? or was the grass just cut at a funny angle. anyone else notice?

Square at the other end same place too.

Might be that the turf everywhere else was just got up to standard, while the goalmouths were relaid again. It is the spot that cust up most and worst afterall.

The goalmouths take a pounding at every ground, every season. Longer grass in that area makes sense.
