Alan Shearer.

His goalscoring record is absolutely phenomenal - 250+ goals in the Premiership which is miles more than anyone else.

Nobody else can touch him IMHO.

Despite the fact I can't stand the elbow-wielding geordie toss-pot, I'd have to agree. And the fact he scored all those goals playing in fairly second-rate teams makes it even more deserved.

Yeah I don't like him one little bit either, but you can't argue with a record like that.
