I don't get why everyone is picking France in their group of death, I'd be much more scared of Portugal. For me worst case scenario would be:

England
Mexico
Ivory Coast
Portugal

Best case scenario:

England
Honduras
Algeria
Switzerland

If I understand correctly, we are more likely to draw one of Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile from that pot than one of the other teams, simply because neither Brazil or Argentina can be drawn against another South American team.

South Africans have banned sale of vuvuzuelas, noisy horns beloved by locals, in lead-up to draw.

Good thing too - they're going to be the things that people take back from this WOrld Cup - and they'll be a source of great contraversy during it. Just as Mexico86 gave the world the odious Mexican Wave, this WC will give us vuvuzuelas.

Expect lots of complaints about the background noise at every WC match and then more complaints as people try to take them into league matches next season.

--One of the African nations or one of the -'Guays/Chile
--Also none of the Asian nations or NZ or any from our own fed

Best case: South Africa + Chile/Algeria + er Slovakia/Slovenia/Greece I suppose

Only thing we've got going for us is the Confederations Cup "experience," which of course won't matter one damn bit when they kick it off, and I suppose it may help a little that our depth who play their club ball domestically will be in the middle of their league season and not coming off of a long campaign
