06 Jun 2010 11:06why all these anti England snobbery??Urinal Mint wrote:Not at all disappointed that Ferdinand misses out. He hasn't been any where near as reliable as he was two seasons plus back.
That is one very weak and fragile squad, with or without him though. Hype up our chances all you like, but we'll do well to reach the 1/4's.

06 Jun 2010 11:09ledley king is head and shoulders the best central defender that england could call on.his legs are a different matter, but his ability is beyond question.swansea jack wrote:Ian Royal wrote:Oh dear, that puts King closer to the starting line up.![]()
Euro 2004 vs France. This guy put in the best defensive performance I've ever seen live and if he's anywhere near that form...

06 Jun 2010 14:36Royalee and I agree. Ian that is complete rubbish! Ferdinand has been pants and injured this year. Makes mistakes all the time and has been reading the game badly. King has been the best defender in the premiership all year. It's only his injuries which hold him back.Royalee wrote:Yes, he's rubbish and Ferdinand's been in top form all season.Ian Royal wrote:Oh dear, that puts King closer to the starting line up.

09 Jun 2010 07:28I see my fishing attempt has gone over like a soggy biscuit. It must mean you all agree with me. Very good then, carry on. Good luck on Saturday and may the 2nd best team win.seahawk10 wrote:Is this the proper thread for a little smack-talk? The pressure you lot put on the England team is sure to make them fold up like origami. My advice is to stick a lump of coal up the bums of your starting XI so they all can shit out a diamond after they lose to the good old US of A come Saturday.
Over to you boys...
