Understandable. Losing is ok, but not like that. To Spurs ffs. And after all those shit results in the Premiership.

23 May 2025 07:40The issue there at the mo is you have a manager who is wedded to a way of playing 3-4-2-1 but has a squad who simply cannot play that way to a high enough standard.Sutekh wrote:Amorim will turn it round if he gets the time, however he sometimes doesn’t help himself e.g. why was Garnacho not starting or at least coming on sooner?

23 May 2025 10:17Man United knew this before they hired him, there's a reason why he didn't really want to take over mid-season. They should have had the balls to get him in last summer. Instead they've done the worst thing possible and got a manager with the wrong players who were already undermotivated and made it so much more difficult to recruit better ones this summer. Ineos just aren't very good at running sports teams.Stranded wrote:That leaves Utd with a stark choice - back Amorim to completely reshape the squad to his needs - a tough ask when funds are allegedly tight and the club are probably in their least marketable state in decades or get rid an hire a pragmatic manager who will find the formation to fit the players.

23 May 2025 13:44I know it's a business but it's disgusting to think of "normal" people losing their £20k a year jobs whilst the club jizz away more than this shipping players to games, or on goal bonus payments.Dirk Gently wrote:Reports that the last round of redundancies was based on the assumption the club would be in the Europa League or higher for the next four seasons, so another round of extensive cuts expected very soon.
This. Sack a load of the hard working decent people from the back room and put the money saved into buying an overpriced Cuhna.katweslowski wrote:I know it's a business but it's disgusting to think of "normal" people losing their £20k a year jobs whilst the club jizz away more than this shipping players to games, or on goal bonus payments.Dirk Gently wrote:Reports that the last round of redundancies was based on the assumption the club would be in the Europa League or higher for the next four seasons, so another round of extensive cuts expected very soon.

I heard that they tried but the rainwater cascading through the roof put it out.BRO_BOT wrote:Hopefully, it's toxic at OT tomorrow!
I genuinely feel the scousers would have removed the Glazers by now if they owned LFC but for some reason we haven't burned the stadium to the ground!
