Far too hot and no pubs near the ground.Winston Biscuit wrote:Jonjo Shelvey reportedly on his way to join Rizespor, based in the north east of Turkey

Looking at around 28 degree typically in the summer in Rize, not too bad. Pubs I cannot help you with.Green wrote:Far too hot and no pubs near the ground.Winston Biscuit wrote:Jonjo Shelvey reportedly on his way to join Rizespor, based in the north east of Turkey

They always say it's the humidity that's the killer - but ok could be worse. If I'm being slightly more charitable I'm sure you'll find an Efes pils somewhere not too far away too.NathStPaul wrote:Looking at around 28 degree typically in the summer in Rize, not too bad. Which one is the designated racist stand?paultheroyal wrote:First plans for Basingstoke Town new stadium. Lets hope it comes to fruition. Signs are positive.

Long overdue and looks smart.Clyde1998 wrote:I don't think this has been posted here: Aldershot Town are planning a development of their ground:
Phase 1Phase 2
- Replacement of East, West and South Stands and new toilet blocks
- Refurbishment of the North Stand [where the players' tunnel is] and club building
- New floodlights
- Creation of space for future fan zone around stadium entrance
Phase 3
- New hospitality and community building on the High Street
- Refurbishment of the Phoenix Lounge
- Landscaping and public realm works on the High Street
- Replacement of North Stand
- Renovation of facilities including hospitality, administrative offices and players accommodation
- New pitch
Think finding the location is the hardest challenge but the actual leisure park which I believe is under redevelopment plans would be an excellent location and right near the current site at Winklebury.Winston Biscuit wrote:where would it be?paultheroyal wrote:First plans for Basingstoke Town new stadium. 17 Oct 2023 20:11I'm intrigued by the notion of "replacing" the West Stand. It's currently a couple of trees and a hedge, isn't it?Clyde1998 wrote:I don't think this has been posted here: Aldershot Town are planning a development of their ground:

There's a small stand at that end, which sits a couple hundred tops:From Despair To Where? wrote:I'm intrigued by the notion of "replacing" the West Stand.
