PS I know that and you know that, but in the naughties it will never happen, spontaneous singing.

I think STAR should do a poll on their website and advertise it on here, in the programme, in the EP etc so that once and for all we get a majority verdict on firstly whether we should have goal music and secondly, if so, which tune. It's surely not that hard to organise is it?This might then go some way to stop these annual bloody arguments on here at least!
I suspect the arguments would be somewhat more vociferous had we not been given the chance to elect said government though!West Stand Man wrote:If a poll decided one way or the other there would still be an annual debate about revisiting the question by those who disagreed with the outcome. Roughly once every 5 years we elect a government and that doesn't stop us arguing about whether we got the right one!
There's always a comedy option for supporters of other teams...Magnus wrote:I'd suggest whoever constructed the poll and included that as an option was at fault there.
People won't bother voting on something that doesn't effect them unless there's a comedy option.
I agree, the real crux of the matter is that there shouldn't be any music in the first placeDirk Gently wrote:Which is one of the reasons I refuse to get excited about what particular tune is selected for music after goals.
Which is why that should be one of the options imo!Big Foot wrote:I agree, the real crux of the matter is that there shouldn't be any music in the first placeDirk Gently wrote:Which is one of the reasons I refuse to get excited about what particular tune is selected for music after goals.
No you stop when you get the result you want and then stop anyone else starting the debate againWest Stand Man wrote:
If only that were the case. If a poll decided one way or the other there would still be an annual debate about revisiting the question by those who disagreed with the outcome.
Surely that's the end of it then - lolzReading FC wrote:Gylfi Sigurdsson's fantastic goal also saw the debut of our new goal music, an edited version of House Of Pain's classic Jump Around.
McDermott and his team were fully involved in selecting all of the music for the season
That doesn't mean we have to accept it though.Sarah Star wrote: We all know the cub refuse to not play any music at all.
