For the West Ham game I phoned at 9.00am and got through in five minutes.

If you get there early enough there is free parking behind Aldi on Bevois Valley Road, then its a 10 min walk from there, with pubs on the way

I think you can park at Ocean Village for free (and there's a pub there), but there's another car park over the road near to the bridge.

A quick google tells me it's Crosshouse road, at the end near the river.
