Anyway, does anyone find it distinctly strange that somebody should support a baseball team from New York, a basketball team from Boston and an American Football team from San Francisco?

No because unlike people from over there we have no sense of the rivalry and 'hatred' between these teams and areas. In most cases we just pick the teams we like watching. If I had to pick a basketball team i like watching it would be the Celtics, even though I can't stand most things Boston nor anything to do with the Irish or 'Celts'.

My NFL team is the Eagles and Ice Hockey the Penguins, two city rivals from Pennsylvania. Baseball? Well that's the RAY(s) Team.

Been thinking about going to see Whitstable this season with a mate who's a Whitstable fan. Although as they're struggling and the weather has often been shit haven't got round to it yet. The Whitstable-Dover game last season over the Bank Holiday weekend was quite possibly the best game i saw last season.

When i lived in Muenster i use to watch Dortmund quite alot and so have a bit of a soft spot for them.

FTR - you can only support one club. You can look for another clubs fixtures. A bit like you can look at other birds when you're married but that's as far as it goes.
