I think the reason the enjoyment has gone down is probably because the results, am thinking home games here, seem to be so much more important nowadays and so this is where the focus is. Which could explain why quite a lot of ppl on the thread have mentioned away games..

Going to games used to be as much, if not more, about entertainment for me than anything else. Unless we lost (just once for me until late 2006 in 4 and a half years or so) the result wasnt the be all and end all. In fact the 1-1 draw at home to Leeds in 2005 was prob better than most, if not all of last season's games...
