Exactly.

Anyway, if LR is to get the boot then it absolutely has to happen this week and a new appointment ideally needs to be completed before the play-offs are done and dusted so that recruitment is not delayed.

Don’t forget Joe Jacobson and LinkedIn Leam played together at Blackburn too. The whole set up is rather incestuous

Well Couhig flew in yesterday for these end of season meetings so I would be amazed if we don’t know the outcome by the end of this week one way or another. I’m sure Couhig will do some in house media as well on a variety of topics.

Based on everything I know (nothing) and my gut instinct (unreliable/untested), my belief is that Richardson will be staying.

I think we'll get a letter of some kind from Couhig acknowledging fans complaints about performances and the general poor results. He'll say why he's backing Richardson, promises to strengthen, positivity etc.

He will be given at least this window and the first part of next season to demonstrate an improvement in performances. Couhig and probably Jacobson have backed him to be ‘The One’, and sacking Noel to bring him in now reflects on their decision making. They cannot allow him to fail and would back him in the next window in a way that they would be reluctant to do for a different manager. I expect that he still has their trust and can explain away this season’s shortcomings as part of the process. Remember that he has spent the last part of the season Leamsplaining that in order to reach the lofty heights of sustainability akin to Stockport and Bradford, three or four years are required.

I wonder whether he'll commit to ensuring the manager produces the front-foot attacking football that he promised and that, with immediate effect (from start of season), we will see some shots on target each game!

Presumably Couhig watched the game on a stream, did the motivational booing and Leam out chants come across?

If he didn't pick up on the hostile atmosphere that the fans have lost it with Leam, then who is going to be brave enough to tell him?

I think he was at the game wasn't he? At least Todd was as he was photographed on the pitch

Has anyone got a video clip of it?

Aston Villa loanee Kadan Young was left out of Reading’s final three squads amid what a source close to the club describes as 'discipline issues in training' and a 'bad attitude', despite Leam Richardson publicly citing injury and competition for places.
Assuming Kadan didn't arrive with discipline issues and a bad attitude I'm assuming something (or someone) caused this reaction?

Probably not a good look for a professional footballer but I guess he is young and he went form the fringes of a major European competition to sitting on the bench (if lucky) at Reading and guess with his loan up he could throw caution to the wind

Maybe Kadan not being played regularly by Villa and then being sent to languish at a level he considered below him straight after a blistering performance suggests that Villa knew exactly what they were doing and why… ;)

After we went behind and the weather turned wet, I wonder if Rob heard:

It must be the rain
It must be the rain
Leam Richardson
It must be the rain

Would only consider renewing my season ticket if Richardson goes.
I couldn’t face attending the last 5 or 6 home games as the football was so awful to watch and don’t get me started on Richardsons BS interviews.
He must think the clubs fans are all stupid.
I’m really not prepared to shell out money for more of the same next season.

I was hoping that someone would hand him a brolly. Just to complete the picture.

If he does think that, maybe Couhig will announce plans for a stadium roof. In an outlandish way, it's probably not that extreme considering his intent on AI in the stadium, advertising, upgraded sound, fireworks etc.

I am considering my position (Ironically, just as Richardson should). I find it hard to really be enthused at all at this moment in time. The thought of trudging back up to the SCL to see that rubbish again just doesn't inspire me at all.

I'm honestly not sure what I'll do yet
