I wonder whether he'll commit to ensuring the manager produces the front-foot attacking football that he promised and that, with immediate effect (from start of season), we will see some shots on target each game!katweslowski wrote: ↑05 May 2026 11:19 Based on everything I know (nothing) and my gut instinct (unreliable/untested), my belief is that Richardson will be staying.
I think we'll get a letter of some kind from Couhig acknowledging fans complaints about performances and the general poor results. He'll say why he's backing Richardson, promises to strengthen, positivity etc.
I think he was at the game wasn't he? At least Todd was as he was photographed on the pitch

He wasn’t at the game, he was at his nieces weddingPieEater wrote: ↑05 May 2026 12:32RG30 said he flew in yesterday (Monday)katweslowski wrote: ↑05 May 2026 12:15I think he was at the game wasn't he? At least Todd was as he was photographed on the pitch
Has anyone got a video clip of it?
Assuming Kadan didn't arrive with discipline issues and a bad attitude I'm assuming something (or someone) caused this reaction?Aston Villa loanee Kadan Young was left out of Reading’s final three squads amid what a source close to the club describes as 'discipline issues in training' and a 'bad attitude', despite Leam Richardson publicly citing injury and competition for places.
Maybe Kadan not being played regularly by Villa and then being sent to languish at a level he considered below him straight after a blistering performance suggests that Villa knew exactly what they were doing and why…morganb wrote: ↑05 May 2026 17:21 https://www.readingchronicle.co.uk/spor ... -fc-squad/

Probably not a good look for a professional footballer but I guess he is young and he went form the fringes of a major European competition to sitting on the bench (if lucky) at Reading and guess with his loan up he could throw caution to the wind
After we went behind and the weather turned wet, I wonder if Rob heard:
If he does think that, maybe Couhig will announce plans for a stadium roof. In an outlandish way, it's probably not that extreme considering his intent on AI in the stadium, advertising, upgraded sound, fireworks etc.
I am considering my position (Ironically, just as Richardson should). I find it hard to really be enthused at all at this moment in time. The thought of trudging back up to the SCL to see that rubbish again just doesn't inspire me at all.Marcel wrote: ↑05 May 2026 22:31 Would only consider renewing my season ticket if Richardson goes.
I couldn’t face attending the last 5 or 6 home games as the football was so awful to watch and don’t get me started on Richardsons BS interviews.
He must think the clubs fans are all stupid.
I’m really not prepared to shell out money for more of the same next season.
