Great deal for Arsenal on the face of it.Winston Biscuit wrote:Zinchenko to Arsenal for £30m
Unless Tierney keeps getting injured?Pepe the Horseman wrote:Yep. Will get a chance to play further up the pitch too. Deffo one for the fantasy teams.
Arsenal doing some good business.
The fact that Lingard hasn't found a club despite being publicly on the market for the last year should tell him all he needs to know about his wage demands.Stranded wrote:Forest in advance talks with Jesse Lingard and are willing to smash their wage structure to get him.
They clearly appear to be going down the shit or bust route to PL recruitment. If they stay up, then they'll be OK, if they go down esp. as Lingard will be wanting upwards of 100k pw (some reports saying he wants 180k and could get that abroad) - then they could be in a world of pain if they drop.
Nautrally, but he'll end up getting more than he's proably worth.6ft Kerplunk wrote:The fact that Lingard hasn't found a club despite being publicly on the market for the last year should tell him all he needs to know about his wage demands.Stranded wrote:Forest in advance talks with Jesse Lingard and are willing to smash their wage structure to get him.

A fair deal if he plays left midfield; a bad deal if he plays left-back.Royal Rother wrote:Great deal for Arsenal on the face of it.Winston Biscuit wrote:Zinchenko to Arsenal for £30m
Harsh on Zinchenko. Has always looked capable when he's played. Would walk into most Prem sides at LB.South Coast Royal wrote:A fair deal if he plays left midfield; a bad deal if he plays left-back.Royal Rother wrote:Great deal for Arsenal on the face of it.Winston Biscuit wrote:Zinchenko to Arsenal for £30m
One of a long line of left-backs at City not up to standard.
Poor defensively IMHO (as are most full-backs in the Premier League tbf).Pepe the Horseman wrote:Harsh on Zinchenko. Has always looked capable when he's played. Looks like this is done. Just a 1 year deal. If 180k pw is accurate, with no fee this will cost Forest around 15m and they can part ways next summer. Might not actually be that bad a deal.6ft Kerplunk wrote:The fact that Lingard hasn't found a club despite being publicly on the market for the last year should tell him all he needs to know about his wage demands.Stranded wrote:Forest in advance talks with Jesse Lingard and are willing to smash their wage structure to get him.

Without knowing the ins and outs of the situation, looks like a really poor decision from Lingard to join Forest over West Ham, especially if he wants to break back into the England squadStranded wrote:Looks like this is done.
