Yep, standing in the Cowshed in a match under the lights the whoe experience and atmosphere reminds me of being on the South Bank in the 80s.bakerlou wrote:Not only does Morton FC have a fantastic understanding of what makes a great kit ie blue and white hoops, if you overlook the floodlighting their ground is very strongly reminiscent of Elm Park. We're viewing this pic from the Tilehurst End with the Southbank on the distant right. Good times.

Superb. Who is the manufacturer?Dirk Gently wrote:
The new Morton shirt. A classic design, with the names of the club's owners and season ticket holders embedded in the design.

People like me and you cant buy them, they make chips for mobile devices for Samsung and other big phone manufacturers. who are they advertising too, who is their demographic? it doesn't make senseSnapdragon is a suite of system-on-a-chip semiconductor products for mobile devices designed and marketed by Qualcomm Technologies Inc.

Spend nothing … net expenditure … zero
Spend £100 on marketing … tax reduced by £19 … net expenditure £81
Spending something just to write it off against tax is a false economy

A small proportion of people actually look at the specs of mobile devices before buying them, so perhaps they're looking for some name recognition there. More likely, though, it's all about the corporate hospitality etc and the ability to take clients to watch big matches and impress them by the prominence and influence you have. Or maybe the marketing director supports them and wants that experience themself.Brogue wrote:People like me and you cant buy them, they make chips for mobile devices for Samsung and other big phone manufacturers. who are they advertising too, who is their demographic? it doesn't make sense

I work for a similar company that makes electronic 'bits' and 'stuff' and yeah, this is a weird one. I'd be amazed if anyone here, or anyone I ever speak to in fact, has ever heard of my company, and yet it turns over hundreds of millions a year. We don't advertise, we attend roadshows where the likes of Siemens or Samsung or whoever go to find their latest electronic bits.Brogue wrote:perhaps one for the bemused thread by Why do snapdragon need to advertise?Winston Biscuit wrote:Ooh I like that a lotSanguine wrote:I am really liking retro Adidas and the return to the classic three stripe sleeves and old logo.
