Dont you think this would increase the atmosphere at the stadium?
Yeh away game would be best as best atmosphere from our fans is when we are away. I dont see why it cant be introducedBarry the bird boggler wrote:Yes, but as ever if it doesn't come from the fans in the first place then its a load of corporate cobblers that no-one will take to. If you have an idea for something then you need to get along to a game with a load of like minded mates and persist with the idea. Would suggest starting at an away game as that's where the core support is strongest and where anything would be quicker to take off.
why would wearing a blue and white scarf increase the atmosphere any more than wearing a replica shirt does, Jay?Royals-lad14 wrote:Ive always thought that Reading need to do something like Liverpool in the sense of when the players come out of the tunnel at least 3/4 of the stadium has blue and white hooped scarves, i certainly think this would hype up the players for the game. I'd love to see this implemented at the Madejski Stadium. However no club song like Liverpool, You'll never walk alone![]()

Can you wave something else if you don't have a scarf?Forbury Lion wrote:Star oraganised that hoops around the stadium thing, It looked great but didn't have any effect on the atmosphere. IIRC it was a sellout game anyway.
A fire needs only one spark to start, So if one person starts waving their scarf and gets the persons next to them to do it then it may well spread.
That was for effect, not atmosphere.Forbury Lion wrote:Star oraganised that hoops around the stadium thing, It looked great but didn't have any effect on the atmosphere. IIRC it was a sellout game anyway.
I don't think burning scarfs at football is a good idea.Forbury Lion wrote:A fire needs only one spark to start, So if one person starts waving their scarf and gets the persons next to them to do it then it may well spread.

If you're after strops you need the Team board - they're all over the place there.royalexile wrote:Keep those razor strops hidden.Royal Lady wrote:Can you wave something else if you don't have a scarf?Forbury Lion wrote:Star oraganised that hoops around the stadium thing, It looked great but didn't have any effect on the atmosphere.
