There have been plenty of meetings, usually no one that complains bothers going along. Standing is allowed at moments of excitement, persistant standing is not allowed.
Funny that you expect others to go and try to get it sorted on your behalf, I wonder if the STAR people get victimised by "Mr Doyle and his cronies" have you contacted your MP about the safe standing campaign yet?jonboy29red wrote:people that complain about it prob dont go to the meetings as there prob worried about being victimised by mr doyle and his croniesHarpers So Solid Crew wrote:jonboy29red wrote:i think clive doyle and star need to arrange a meeting with the people in y26 to sort this out one and for all as im sure that the rules allow a bit of discretion but he aint alowing it

To be fair representing the fans on this kind of issue is exactly the kind of thing that STAR, or any half decent fans representative body, should be doing though isn't it?Harpers So Solid Crew wrote:Funny that you expect others to go and try to get it sorted on your behalf, I wonder if the STAR people get victimised by "Mr Doyle and his cronies" have you contacted your MP about the safe standing campaign yet?

I think STAR are doing/have done quite a bit of work on this issue though, but that doesn't mean the original request is that wide of the mark.
And it's said the stewards lack a sense of humour.Yellowcoat wrote:Idiot.
HSSC is right in that we have done just that half a dozen times and the most that came was a handful and once I was the only supporter there. However despite that we continue to try and are planning a fans forum soon that will have part about stewarding and policing and part ex-players, so you may soon get the chance to ask your questions face to face.jonboy29red wrote:i think clive doyle and star need to arrange a meeting with the people in y26 to sort this out one and for all as im sure that the rules allow a bit of discretion but he aint alowing it
I guess it's too much to expect us to be excited for a full 90 mins.Harpers So Solid Crew wrote:There have been plenty of meetings, usually no one that complains bothers going along. Standing is allowed at moments of excitement, persistant standing is not allowed.
