From people who are just putting 2 (McCarthy's contract) and 2 (Andersen's contract) together and making 5 or from people that have heard it from someone who might have an idea of what's being considered?

It wouldn't surprise me if he did, his form has been pretty good this season so those Premier League sides who didn't fancy taking him in the summer might be a bit more inclined to give him a go now (not sure who though).

Ideal Well apparently ManU and the other top clubs are queueing up to buy that dutch guy Swansea have in goal. Fork?
Anyway, that means Swansea will be looking for another goalkeeper.
Maybe they'll come in for "Hollywood save" Federici?

The free kick save on Saturday was a thing of beauty! Premiership class all over it.

Hey it's just a rumour I'm not saying it's definitely happening. Indeed I hope it doesn't. I have my sources, make of it what you will.

There's also been talk of interest in Krul at Newcastle as well, perhaps Pardew would be interested in Federici filling his boots?

Others potentially could be QPR (think there's been talk of Hughes looking to replace Kenny) or Fulham, or perhaps West Brom (I think Foster was linked with QPR).

This thread is exactly what this specific forum is for; an utterly unfounded rumour posted by someone who has no genuine knowledge that what is rumoured is going to happen, but just posts it for the sake of it.

I've never posted in this forum before. I didn't just post it for the sake of it.

Won't happen.

McCarthy now on loan for three months so I cannot see we intend to sell Fed as we would only have Andersen left. McCarthy cannot be recalled for at least a month.

We cannot recall McCarthy until the first month of the loan is up, after then we have a 24 hour recall...

He didn't sign his loan until the at least a week into the month so I think it would be either 28 days from that date, so probably missing out the Doncaster away game.

If it's right for the long term then I'm sure they'd just stick Andersen in goal for that game and let Federici leave.

Was that an attempt at "Vorm"?

If so, this might help:

I heard he had an explosive necklace that, when activated, only gives him 8 hours to return to Berkshire before it explodes.
