The missus reported to me that on the 8.30 Norwich to Liverpool St train yesterday she spotted a large suitcase/holdall in the luggage racks which had the Reading Football Club logo on the side and appeared to be some sort of official overnight bag.
Make of that what you will, but she didn't think it was a fan bag, more an official piece of luggage. Hmmmmm.

Seeing as often have photographic proof in the programme of RFC fans in the most obscure places of the world I don't think the 8.30 to Liverpool Street would be much of a challenge

Just to clarify, the holdall was in the luggage rack when the missus got on at Norwich, which is the end of the line (in more ways than one.)
Most likely someone from the Academy returning to digs in Reading after spending part of the weekend at home in East Anglia.

Norfolk Royal That's odd then because there's a direct train every half hour from Norwich to Liverpool Street.
You do know that direct trains still stop at other stations along the way, dont you

I was replying to the poster who seemed to imply that trains from Norwich stopped at Ipswich and went no further.
