He must know some serious sh1t about Brian/SJM/Amton for us to take a contract out on him

Maybe that's the reason the TSI deal has stalled

Part of being a forward-thinking club is recognising young talent and snapping it up cheap. He's 21, has three league seasons behind him and is clearly rated by someone at Reading if we are delving into Scottish Division 1. If he costs us a few £000s then he might prove a shrewd signing.

Reading have been linked with Partick Thistle defender Aaron Sinclair.

The 21-year old has impressed during his one-year tenure with the Scottish First Division side, since joining from Montrose in July 2011. He has made 26 appearances for the Jags this season, scoring one goal in the process. The ex-St. Johnstone trainee has also earned interest from Southampton and Cardiff City.

Sinclair's contract is set to run out in July next season and Partick are yet to offer him a new deal at the Furhill Stadium. Sinclair was also awarded Irn-Bru Phenomenal Young Player of the Month award in the month of October, an award which he also won on numerous occasions during his time at Montrose.
