SPARTA There was meant to be 4-5 players over here who were ready to come out. I hope that is still the case.

Royalist Why should a gay player come out? I don't care where he wants to put his penis. Why does anyone else?

Look at Casey Stoney. Not really heard of until she came out. Now SKY have given her a job commentating on games in the SKY studio. Why? Just because living a lie and decided to tell the truth. It's a case of giving someone a job, not because they're the best at what they do - but to show 'diversity' in this overly PC World.
It's also done Tom Daley the World of good in terms of his media career.

Ok, womens' football hasn't got the biggest profile but I'd hardly call Casey Stoney unheard of. Multiple trophies at Arsenal, Over 100 Caps and England captain. I'd say that had more of an impact in her getting a job for Sky Sports than her sexuality.
And Tom Daley was hardly media shy before he came out.
