Nah, I've heard it's been cancelled as it clashes with the Yeovil game. It's definitely on next year though.

The match is still on, the marathon will finish before kick off, so all the people will be off the pitch. They'll be asked to leave the stadium unless they are a STH or have tickets for the game.

Seeing as the marathon is on 2nd and the match is on 1st, according to the opening sentence on this thread, that might be tricky unless they're completing it by running round a TARDIS

Both dates have been on the fixture list since the start of the season so no way will either have to change. The stadium often has double header weekends so there's no reason they can't lay the track round half the pitch over night. Biggest issue will be the car park, which has big tents and loads of barriers on it for the marathon but presumably the contractors can get those on site before hand and moved into place over night. May mean some parking space is not available for the game
Bottom line is that the stadium manager is highly experienced so will have it planned, he won't wake up tomorrow and suddenly spot an unexpected clash on his fixture list....

Apparently we are charging Yeovil fans a different price depending on whether they are season ticket holders, do we normally do this? Don't really see why Reading would care whether an away fan has a season ticket or not.

We pass on our member benefits to opposing clubs because we're nice like that (in that if you're a member you get a slightly reduced ticket price for home games). Presumably Yeovil don't have a membership scheme and so instead have offered reduced prices to STH's instead.

Not all clubs pass on the benefits. ISTR Man Utd charged the full non-member price to their fans (despite every ticket-buyer being a member) and then pocketed the difference, while Norwich City or Blackpool don't actually pass their member benefits on to away clubs.

3 large tents already on Red car park at moment, maybe people will be asked to park at speedway stadium ?? as with the tents and portaloo park there won't be a lot of room left
