I'm probably going to try and make this one, one ground I've managed not to tick off yet, The ground is pretty close to the centre so the 17:34 would be easy to make. I've been to a concert at the Civic centre and the ground is just under the underpass (where you allegedly get mugged by the locals)

The ground is very close to the station, I had a tight connection a few years back on a midweek trip and made it comfortably.

Yeah, it's quite close, probably a 5/10 minute walk. 17:32 is easily doable.

There is some lights above. I advise crossing there as your quite right and the underpass is quite long (in fact I believe it's one then an open plain and another). Burger van was quite nice parked near the underpasses though. Worth a try (probably only thing there that's nice)

Just down the road from the Goalpost pub is some small parking spaces. But be aware it's not a particularly pleasant area.

Might go myself. As most have realised I bloody hate that football club so there is some added spice. They have moved the away end behind the goal so you will no longer be spat at or have coins thrown at your head from above. You just have a bunch of idiots to your left

I've got my ticket and it says we are in the Steve Bull lower tier which is at the side of the pitch. Perhaps it depends on the size of the allocation taken up by the away team?

Anyway, bring your umbrellas and raincoats...

If I got my train ticket Reading - Banbury and then Banbury - Wolverhampton then would I get away with getting the direct train from Reading to Wolverhampton or would I actually have to go to Banbury first?

Not that often - but be careful when searching - I _think_ that would involve changing onto a Chiltern Railways service at Banbury - which arrives into Birmingham Snow Hill, then you'd have to walk to Birmingham New Street (5 mins) to continue on to Wolves. I make that £32.20...

Birmingham New Street and Birmingham Snow hill are both part of the "Birmingham Stations" group (just like Reading and Reading West are both "Reading Stations") so (depending on how the search engine you use works of course) if you search for fares from Banbury to Birmingham New Street the Chiltern Railways only fares may show up - even though they terminate at Birmingham Snow Hill....
