Free tickets for the next 3 games

by Royal Ginger » 02 Sep 2016 18:12

The club is offering a free ticket to season ticket holders valid at one of the next three games. Glad to see they're making an effort to get the numbers in, but more importantly, who wants to buy me lunch?

Do you want to waste your Saturday afternoon watching substandard football in a substandard atmosphere, in the cold? Can't see my free ticket being snatched up too quickly

We could always offer our free tickets to fellow nobbers if we're otherwise not going to use them, just a thought.

I mean I'd be more than up for a free ticket but are you required to sit near aforementioned nobber?

From what I understand it can be anywhere, so no obligation to sit next to the ST holder who gets you the ticket.

All I will say is about the atmosphere. People often criticise it.

However I've been to my fair share of away games. Reading is by no means "poor". We are average and our home support matches many other clubs with a similar profile to ours.

Cracking promotion. I was going to spend £40 on the Ipswich and Birmingham games anyway but this has saved me nicely 8)

If your Saturday's are too important then you could opt for the Tuesday evening game....

Tbh I do agree, our home atmosphere is a lot better than the likes of Cardiff/Fulham/Brentford. But I remember going to Derby/ Bradford places like that with an outstanding home support. The entire stand stood and sung with them as opposed to the top half of Y25 and Y26

Why spend your time on a substandard forum making sub standard posts if you hate watching a sub standard team that much?
