I am in such an incredible good mood at the moment. I have a real spring in my step. Every day since Tuesday night I have been feeling so high. I just can't explain this feeling I've got. It's amazing.

Today is my boy's birthday. He has turned 8 years old and my wife has been shopping at the RFC megastore getting him ready for Wembley. He has a jester hat, he's got his flag from Tuesday night, he will be wearing the hoops and I'll have to get his face painted for the big day as well. The mood in the camp is unreal right now.

We live in West London and everywhere I go I'm getting congratulated on Reading's success. I'm just the fan, but I seem to be getting all the handshakes and good luck messages as if it were my big achievement. I'm struggling to wipe the big smile off my face. If this is how good I'm feeling in the build up to the big game, if we win, lord only knows how I'm going to be feeling next week.

How are the rest of you lot feeling right now?

Pre the Fulham game, I was feeling really anxious and nervous. But pre the Huddersfield game I'm feeling euphoric, proud and high.

Happy Birthday to your little man! Well done on getting him to have his face painted. Mine won't co-operate with me on that score. I had grand visions of hoops all over the face and a big red 13 on each cheek, but no, he won't do it. He's wearing his shirt and his Reading cap, that's as far as he'll go. Although, he's pestering me to get some blue and white balloons for the day, I might consider this.
