Decent pub for away supporters right next to the ground called the Griffin, friendly and often crowded with Reading supporters.

There's plenty of pubs in Brentford High street and the surrounds. Shouldn't go short for somewhere to get a beer

Enjoyed my last trip there, despite the 4-1 defeat. Standing terrace, crap view, decent atmosphere. Very nostalgic for the old days.

SW trains is the obvious option, but if you can't deal with the crappy slow service, I did Ealing Broadway and then got an uber down last time round. You could do Ealing > Tube or bus to South Ealing > then take in a few quite nice pubs on the way down to the ground from there. Its about a 10-15 min walk

The £16 cost and one and a quarter hour train journey is a bit painful for somewhere that's 30 odd miles down the road. If there's 3-4 of you i'd recommend getting a taxi there and back. Might only be £35 or so each way.

Went for the standing terrace just to see what it’s like. Been a long time since I’ve done that.

Will probably just do the slow train to Waterloo
