Once again clubs taking piss out of our 20s plenty. £32 is a rip off.

When will the club start asking serious questions about ticket prices when we only charge £20.

Totally agree with the above, other teams are laughing their bollocks off at us, time to ditch it unless the other teams comply. I believe West brom only charged 20. but the rest are taking the piss.

I think it's more a case of the EFL and their member clubs needing to do the right thing for their fans. In the meantime, I think Reading need to stick up for our travelling supporters by increasing the ticket prices for away supporters from clubs that charge our fans more than £20 when we visit. I think the maximum they can charge is £25 for an adult (equivalent to an adult ticket in Club 1871). They should then leaflet the away supporters affected, explaining that they are paying £5 more than they needed to because their own club persists in ripping off visiting supporters.

Think the club should charge away fans the same as they charge us and then take the extra money, in Bristol's case £12, and subsidise our fans going there so that we only pay £20. Hopefully would make other clubs take a closer look.

The thing is most of the clubs in the Championship don't charge their own fans similar prices S they do away fans. They get round this by member's rates or dirt cheap season tickets, so the away fans paying £30+ per game are subsidising the home fans' entrance prices.

Maybe we too should have a membership that costs £10 a year, and then charge member's rates to home fans of £20 per game regardless of which stand you are in. Non-members pay £32, so basically the vast majority of non-members tickets sold will be away fan ticket sales during the season. Any opposition that agree to replicate our home pricing for their home games to our "members" as away fans can then have reciprocal £20 tickets for their members/season ticket holders when they come to our place.

If not billy big bollocks like Leeds and Sheffield's second club can suck up the £32 price.

The other advantage to this is that away fans sitting in the home end effectively have to pay £10 extra (as they'll only come to one game). Might as well gouge extras from them also.

I sent a complaint to the club last year about this, seems they don`t care because I didn`t get a reply,
Other teams will be saying thanks very much for being cheap, but bollocks to your fans we are still going to hit you in the pocket.
We can`t do it on our own, so lets stop being so damn nice.

I hate everything about this, it's a rip-off price but most Championship clubs are charging similar prices, if fans don't go then the home fans of those teams have a nice laugh about how bad our away following is.

The club can't control what other clubs do. I'm sure they've considered their pricing and decided what is best for us.

£32 is fairly steep but agree, if you’re complaining about it, simply don’t go. It’s a better message to send rather than complaining but turning up anyway

However, in the era of expensive tickets, I’m always disappointed about fan reactions to our scheme. Most either complain about Club1871 taking up their allocation or come up with the usual dull responses “you couldn’t pay me to go to Reading” etc
