I think it's more a case of the EFL and their member clubs needing to do the right thing for their fans. In the meantime, I think Reading need to stick up for our travelling supporters by increasing the ticket prices for away supporters from clubs that charge our fans more than £20 when we visit. I think the maximum they can charge is £25 for an adult (equivalent to an adult ticket in Club 1871). They should then leaflet the away supporters affected, explaining that they are paying £5 more than they needed to because their own club persists in ripping off visiting supporters.gazzer, loyal royal wrote:It costs more to watch Reading at Bristol City than any away fan pays to watch their team in the premier league. Surely that’s not right.
Is there nothing STAR can push the club into here?
The other advantage to this is that away fans sitting in the home end effectively have to pay £10 extra (as they'll only come to one game). Might as well gouge extras from them also.Mr Optimist wrote:Also, the club could say that members will get £10 off their fifth home game ticket purchased so effectively the membership costs you nothing if you come to at least five home games in a season.
Its just oxf*rd annoying. Bristol is usually one of the better away days.Green wrote:Honestly if you think it's too expensive (and at £32 I'm inclined to agree) then don't go. Same as any other event or form of entertainment. I can't see why people get so het up about it.
