19 Feb 2020 18:29With respect , I've read this five times, what's the difference in being one nil down , hence we're behind in the game , and score in the last minute , to draw ......from behind ?Snowball wrote:Exactly!
Equalising but then losing is irrelevant
I have posted on this MANY times
“Drawing from behind” means getting a point after being behind, as in when the ref blows the final whistle.

And what's the difference between losing during the game and being behind in the game ?

Consider when Sky or BBC talk about "Points gained from a losing position"
No body struggles with the idea of WINNING from behind
Are we going to add a side coming from 1-0 down to lead 2-1 but then losing 3-2, 4-2 or 5-2?
give me a break!
SECOND. I have made this manifestly clear in previous threads. It's about getting a positive result from a losing position ONLY
The crucial points are "from a losing position" and RESULT
If Reading go 1-0 down, then equalise, but eventually lose 6-1, why on earth would we say "well-done"?
We say well done for RFC (or opponents) FIGHTING BACK, from a losing position, and that is based not on the 17th, 33rd, 45th, 60th minute but the final score
