Still a good few holes to fill in that squad, hopefully once we reach the first week of July we will have some idea of who is coming in or going, but it could ultimately take until September to truly know what our squad for the season will be, maybe even after that if there is still a free agent that can help us (like Carroll from last season).

Yep, left back and central midfield has to be our main priority. I’ll be happy if all of our transfer business is done well before the transfer window closes. Ideally, we want most of our squad to get a full preseason together. It will be good if we can take on Brighton with virtually a full squad.

That looks like a really thorough and accurate list. I think Ashcroft is leaving. Otherwise I would hope all of the above are at the club going forward.

Looking at that list, there is some promising talent there. Our academy has been very good in the last decade or so in terms of churning out potential talents.

Even looking at the U23's, the likes of CBC, Andresson, Abbey, Dorsett, Camara, Clarke, Purcell, Samuels, Scott, Stickland and Holzman for example could feature as regular first team players for us in the future.

Craig sounds like a good signing from what others have said. Reserve judgement on Clarke of course but I hope that his signing doesn't mean that they are unconvinced by Samuels.

It may even mean Samuels might be deemed as ready for some first team involvement next season. Be it as a squad player for us or a season long loan in the EFL somewhere.

Not suggesting he's signed a new contract, just that if he was close to signing elsewhere, I doubt he'd be training with us.
