A random and pointless football team name game

I'm bored and it just popped in my head, I wonder if it is possible to to through all 92 league clubs by name but starting from the last letter of the previous club

Rules are, same poster not allowed consecutive posts and same club cannot be named more then once and it must have to be the full name of the club

For example

Dd: Everton
Winston: Northampton Town
Dd: norwich
Genome: Hull

(Genome is eliminated as it needs to be the full name)

This will probably fall flat on its arse and die in page 1 but oh well

Good idea but the rules/restrictions need more work. For example what happens when someone enters Derby County or Manchester City?

Also how would QPR or Ipswich or Fulham (or, I think, any club beginning with ‘B’) ever be included other than the club to start with?

Good idea but the rules/restrictions need more work. For example what happens when someone enters Derby County or Manchester City?

Also how would QPR or Ipswich or Fulham (or, I think, any club beginning with ‘B’) ever be included other than the club to start with?

Then it is impossible, that as the whole idea of the challenge, the person who gets them loses and is knocked out and we start with a new person but try then do teams that we have not done

All the same let’s give it a try and see how long we can go before having to repeat a name or getting completely stuck. Rules perhaps could be altered to..

1. Any association football team playing anywhere in the British Isles so long as that team has an English language wiki entry (for any sake of argument)
2. Only full names of teams, excluding any prefixes or suffixes of FC or AFC, are acceptable

Think then the only teams to miss out might be those beginning with Q.
