Really surprised the culling of many of the loyal staff who helped get the club through the Dia debacle is not getting any coverage on here.
Perhaps fans don’t care and are happy to support the American way at any cost.
It just seems to me that this isn’t a very nice club anymore.

I'm caught between feeling sorry for them, given everything they had to put up with under Dai, and taking a pragmatic view that this is a business and businesses make good people redundant all the time.

Nobody would give a second though if, for example, 20 people at Select Car Leasing were made redundant tomorrow.

I'm not sure many people realise just how much Tim Kilpatrick did to help keep the club alive financially during the latter days of Dai (see my post under 'What went wrong for the owners').

IMO the owners have made a massive mistake in letting him go - financially and contribution wise akin to releasing Marriott on a free transfer.

In my experience, struggling businesses rarely succeed in cutting their way back to success/growth, particularly when they let their most talented staff and biggest contributors go.

I’ve said a fair bit on other threads, but then, my ‘interests’ are further down the pecking order.

One of them (after being made redundant) keeps getting pestered for advice, details and information by the club….because nobody left there has that knowledge that they dispensed with………and yet you wonder why the pitch is so sh1t
