STAR launches the â€œSTAR250â€

Supporters' Trust at Reading (STAR) today announced the launch of the STAR250 - an e-mail panel of Reading fans designed to help STAR gain a better insight into the views and experiences of Reading supporters.

Over the next few weeks, randomly selected members of STAR will receive e-mails asking if they would like to join the STAR250. Those who agree to join the STAR250 will then receive occasional e-mails asking for their views on topics related to Reading Football Club, the way it is run and the way fans are treated.

This will enable STAR Board members to be better equipped with fans' views and experiences in their regular meetings with the Football Club's Senior Management Board and with the football authorities.

Notes :
- The members of the STAR250 will be selected randomly from the STAR database, using a stratified sample designed to allow valid statistical interpretations to be made of the responses from this group.
- Membership of the STAR250 will be by invitation only, so as to remove inaccuracies caused by respondents who might have a particular view to put forward.
- No personal information will be collected from members of the STAR250, nor will anything which might identify individuals be used in communications with any other party.

Looks like I'll need to take out a few more memberships to increase my chances of selection!
