I have a question.

I live in Manchester and I am seriously looking forward to this game. However I don't have 61 points yet cos I don't get to that many matches.
According to the OS, the tickets will be available to me (if any are still available) on the Thursday before the game.
How will they get the ticket to me in time for the match?
Do they use guaranteed next day delivery? Or do I just have to hope.
Or am I pissing in the wind, thinking I'll get a ticket, anyway?

It may not help you for this game but are you a member of STAR and the Northern Royals? They have procedures to follow for exiles who can't get to accumulate points easily.

Its most likely the club will advise you to collect them from the Man City ticket office.... double check when you finally get through.

Also, why is there only 2,700 seats when its meant to be 10% capacuty or 3,000 allocation?

Maybe thats the initial allocation, with extra tickets being supplied should demand be enough. Thats only a guess though, don't know for sure.

I think they sell the lower tier first, then the upper tier if there's demand.

I believe Liverpool was the fastest selling away game so far with everything gone in 3.5 days.

Although a new ground, I think Man City will sell quite a bit slower than that so I reckon the certainly those with more than 200 points will be safe and they may even get to general sale.

Arsenal tickets will be the next real challenge.

FAO Royal Upnorth: My away tickets always arrive in the next day's post in Darlington. Despite some of the stories you hear, I've always found the ticket office very efficient. Buy on Thursday, you'll get them Friday, no problem.
And we won't sell out against Man City, so your points level won't count against you getting a ticket.

One of the truly rediculous aspects of the TO i'm afraid, selling tickets to low points holders so near the game. Last season anyone with less than 50 points would be able to buy tickets on a thursday for a game on the saturday, however they would stop posting on the wednesday. This meant that, due to living in Nottingham, I was always unable to buy a ticket from our TO and had to buy my away tickets on the gate - Sheff Utd, Sheff Wed, Stoke, Crewe, etc. By doing this you don't accumulate any loyalty points and so find yourself in the same shitty position the next time!

Hopefully the posting of away tickets is different this year...

By comparison with other Premiership clubs, it is.

But in my, subjective opinion anything over Â£10 to watch a football match is too much.
