Linked Registration

Linking your Customer Registration to someone else's allows you to buy tickets in their name. This will allow you to sit next to your mates/family at away games.

Has anyone managed to get this link to work?

When I tried, I just got two red exclamation marks. I know I entered the details correctly as it came up with the full name of the person I wanted to connect to (instead of just the surname as supplied).

It then says there are no linked registrations.

We have emailed the Club, but there is no reply at present.

I had same problem week or so back. Club emailed me back saying it is a known problem which they don't know when it will be fixed. They did say they could link the registration manually if you sent them the details.

I was under the impression this only worked for home games.
If they are adding away games then that would be "Grrrrreat!"

You can't buy away tickets on line can you ? (It's been a while since last season and I've forgotten already !)

Therefore linked registrations make no difference to away tickets.

You can buy tickets for anyone on the phone or in person if you have their customer number, there is no need to be linked as I recall.

The linking only comes into play when you are online.

I don't think I have bought an away ticket online but the OS says about buying tickets for Brighton:

"Tickets will be available in our online booking service, by phone and in person"

I believe that they are trialling on-line away ticket sales with this friendly.

memberservices@readingfc.com have just emailed me to say that they have done the linking for me.

They say "This will allow you to purchase away games and home cup games on their behalf."

- the people I was linking to are ST holders, so don't need home league game tickets.

First rate service from the club.

Good news if they are offering away tickets online.
Just hope they have sized their server correctly !!
