2. Matchday ticket prices to go up because we are going to be a big team that commands big prices
3. Ticket prices to go up to make up for loss of tv revenue
4. Ticket prices to go up as a half empty stadium still costs as much to run as a full one

My prediction is that season ticket prices stay the same, and this is justified on the basis that it's better value, as we get an extra 4 home matches each season.

I can hear it now - we need high ticket prices to fund a squad that can return us to the Premirship. However, despite the three extra games in the Championship we have manage to maintain season ticket prices at their current level

My prediction is a freeze should be retain our PL status, but should be get relegated I suspect they'll drop to the £400 mark Adult's which would be of an increase of £40 since the 05/06 season (N.B ST renewals were £360 for East/North/West Lower in Championship winning season).

Having aid that, precedents fro other clubs suggest that they would likely stay the same, with the justification for this being the 4 extra matches each season.

Whilst anticipating that the club will argue that the extra games justify a freeze I will ask that individuals and STAR campaign for a decrease as:

Indeed there were swingeing increases to allow us to compete in the transfer market - and we never did...
The SKY millions should have put the club on an even keel.
The parachute payment will support the club.

I would assume the Charlton game would be top whack as it's a 'promotion contender'.

The Blades will be looking to take their unbeaten February run into March, as they face Alan Pardew's Promotion chasing Charlton team.

Ticket prices start at £22 for Adults and £14 for Seniors, Students and Juniors under 16.

I would assume prices came down by the look of that. Either that or their club were decent enough not to rob them blind last season where as ours chose to milk the cow for as much milk as possible.

Bearing in mind a new record TV deal and plenty of clubs up and down the country reducing prices to help attract more fans - Blackburn among them IIRC, and we put ours up. Of course we did.

When Charlton were on the verge of relegation/relegated, they promised any ST holder who purchased 1 for the new campaign would recieve a free ST should they be promoted this season. However I can't see RFC following suit, mainly because Charlton were in the Premiership for 7 seasons and a comical 6 months saw Dowie and Read manage and before Pardew came in, it was too late.

Not much justification though is it? Two seasons ago we were in the Championship watching four extra matches paying considerably less. If they don't reduce ST prices I think it would be reasonable to suggest they'd be taking the piss.

It would be very reasonable. But then it'll still probably happen.

It would have been reasonable to expect them to put prices up when we got promoted to around the prices they quoted the previous season for if we got promoted.

I guess it depends how much faith they have in us bouncing straight back up. If they think we will, it'll probably be a slight reduction followed by a hike to above this seasons prices.
