Anyone know if the club are going to do a Movers Week this summer as I am sure there will be more ST changes than usual for next season?

We asked at the last RFC management meeting and no there will not be an official movers week. However if you renew your ST there is a period before seats go on general sale so it would be a good time to contact the club and see if they have spaces where you want to go and if they can move you. That week is to allow them to process all the renewals so it will depend to some extent on how late people leave it to renew and how quickly they can process them.

Alternatively you can wait and see if you can get a new ST but it will be, I assume, more expensive as it is not a renewal and you take the risk as to whether there will be a lot of non-renewals.

If 13-000 renew it will be a result, my dad managed to move last season, was a matter of going down after renewals ended as SL said, this year he is moving again and staying at home as missed half the games due to reasons of old age.

No movers week is a bit of a lazy move by the club. Last year there was no movers week either. I can imagine it is a bit of hassle, but paying the high prices for season tickets the punters deserve it.

There won't be a specific movers' week as such, because it's almost impossible to do and keep everyone happy - because every time you move someone you create another space that someone else might want to move into, and so on.

But the club will help out as much as they can anyone who wants to move - they should let the club know when they do their renewals. If you look carefully at the dates, renewals close on 20th June and they're not starting to process new applications until 30th June, so there is some time built in to allow requested moves to happen - it's just not called "movers' week", but the end result is the same.

The above applies up until the 20th June - after that, if he hasn't renewed, his seat number goes into the general sale pot.

That's what the club did after the end of the first premiership season. Wouldn't let me renew next to my mate, even though it was one of our friends who wasn't renewing sitting between us and had told the club he wasn't renewing.

Email I got from the Ticket Office about moving:

To clarify, I suggest that you renew your existing seat so that you still get the renewal price, then from the 23rd June, Call us at that date where we can look at moving you close to your brother.


So I would say that if you want to move, do the renewal in your current seat, possibly with a note to say you are planning to move, then go from there.

With renewals of season tickets in full swing, the Club has announced arrangements for Season Ticket holders who wish to renew and move seats for next season.

Only season tickets which have been renewed before the deadline of 6pm on Friday 20th June will be eligible for moving seats. Therefore the Club recommends supporters renew their current seats before the deadline.

Seat moves will be available from 10am on Wednesday 25th June until 12 noon on Saturday 28th June. Season Ticket holders will be able to move renewed seats into any seats which may have become vacant, subject to availability.

Seat Moves will be available by calling 0844 249 1871 or in person at the Ticket Office (neither method has a priority or advantage over the other).

Personal Callers to the Ticket Office are advised it will not be possible to view seats inside the Stadium Bowl and all seat moves are charged at £10 per seat. It is important to remember it is not possible to guarantee any move and availability is constantly subject to change.

New Season Ticket Sales will be begin on Monday 30th June. Seats will be subject to availability and are charged at a £20 premium vs renewal prices. Full information will be released following the renewal deadline.

Am I alone in thinking that a £10 administration charge is outrageous in what is a fairly seamless, computerised process.

I'm not nomally one to knock everything this club does as some are inclined to do but this is bang out of order.

At a time they should be encouraging all the season ticket sales they can, they seem intent on milking existing customers - note the word - who only wish to buy a more favourable seat if available.

I'm one waiverer who will now choose not to renew and buy on an individual match-by-match basis.

If the ST was lost/stolen, it costs the supporter £2 for a reprint, £1 for a concession. Greed about the £10 adminstration charge though.

If there were no charge the TO would be swamped with requests to move. A small fee means only those who really want/need to move will make the effort.

You miss the point completely. A token charge to cover the cost of the materials (the card in effect) I could understand. As we've already established that there's a £2 charge levied for lost/stolen cards that would appear to be the benchmark.

And so what if the TO were "swamped" with reqests to move (which I would think unlikely anyway)?. Unless I'm very much mistaken part of their reason for being is to service us, the customer. Customers who I would suggest will be that much thinner on the ground this coming season for obvious reasons.

I'd like to move my seat but i don't want to give the bloke who sits in front of me the satisfaction. I'm sure he thought me and my mate were Plastics after we bought half season tickets after Christmas in our Chamionship winning year because he was always really moody with us. We did gt drunk and talk shit alot, in fairness.

Although I'll probably never have to see him again, it'd kill me to think that he'd be badmouthing us to all and sundry when we'd only be a few blocks away.
