End of line for non-league Fisher

Relegated Blue Square South club Fisher Athletic have been officially wound up in the High Court.

Last month the south London non-league outfit were granted 21 days to repay their debt to the Inland Revenue.

"I'm very disappointed for the owners and the people who have worked hard to make this club successful," Fisher chairman Martin Eede told BBC Sport.

"The implications for the future of the club will become clearer over the next few days."

Very Sad. They had a great track record for producing young players. Most of their squad left last summer for professional clubs.
