I wouldn't know as being a Mac user I haven't seen any video footage from world. I have a really old piece of shit machine running Windows that I bought for £20 just so I can listen to the live match feed on a match day if I happened to be working that Saturday, but seeing as it took over 30 mins to boot up (I'm not exaggerating) I never even attempted to watch videos on it.ZacNaloen wrote:Is like the last time they changed to "near dvd quality video" which is not even close?
Still a waste of money.Rawlie19 wrote:Reading World is changing at the end of the month to something called 'Club Player' No changes to subscription or log in, but the audio and video is going to be better, and finally it will be available to Mac users!

Only a waste of money if you have some other amazing way of listening to a game when you're working on a Saturday, Reading are playing away and you have no time to take off or the funds to travel away, and you don't work more that 15 miles outside of Berkshire...Deathy wrote:Still a waste of money.Rawlie19 wrote:Reading World is changing at the end of the month to something called 'Club Player' No changes to subscription or log in, but the audio and video is going to be better, and finally it will be available to Mac users!

I canceled mine towards the end of last season the match highlights were really poor, Blackpool away for example just showed the goals which you could see on any tv station. They stopped showing reserve games altogether, and the so called exclusive interviews were no different to the ones you get on Sky or local tv.Rawlie19 wrote:Only a waste of money if you have some other amazing way of listening to a game when you're working on a Saturday, Reading are playing away and you have no time to take off or the funds to travel away, and you don't work more that 15 miles outside of Berkshire...Deathy wrote:Still a waste of money.Rawlie19 wrote:Reading World is changing at the end of the month to something called 'Club Player' No changes to subscription or log in, but the audio and video is going to be better, and finally it will be available to Mac users!

Plus it's not actually a lot of money, for all the video clips that they show (not just present games but historically too). Although I obviously can't comment on the quality of these videos... Until the end of this month...

My main point was, it's the only way I can listen to games when I'm at work. I have recently downloaded WunderRadio for my iPhone and have Reading 107 on there, but I assume it won't work for live match commentary...Jackson Corner wrote:I canceled mine towards the end of last season the match highlights were really poor, Blackpool away for example just showed the goals which you could see on any tv station.
