I don't understand why Crooks is there. He's pompous (nothing too wrong with that of course ), unamusing, bland and pretty much unlikeable, by, I suspect, all levels / classes of football fans. Not a great combination.

Merson is value for money. Appreciative of smaller clubs and the lower levels of the game. Crooks is simply a stuck up little coont. I've had the misfortune to meet him on a few occasions and can confirm he's as bigger arse in person as he is talking about a game that has completly changed since 20 or so years it's been since he played it.
