They should hire nobbers instead.Avon Royal wrote:The ball boys are crap. We should use them as fuel for the fire that we burn Madejski on.
I hope they can control the balls better with their feet then.... I also prey that none of them are goalkeepers.Sarah Star wrote:I'm sure I read somewhere that this year they'd decided to get boys from the Academy to do it rather than have trials or whatever they used to do, but I can't find anything about it now.
Spot on, the club took the decision at the start of the season that they'd use the U14/15 players from now on. Not too sure what they're reasoning is, but think its something to do with including the younger players in the whole club setup.Sarah Star wrote:They should hire nobbers instead.Avon Royal wrote:The ball boys are crap. Yes Mr Rosenior, it's the ballboys/girls fault that you can't beat a fullback, cross a ball etcForbury Lion wrote:What's happened? Have the club sold all the ones who know how to catch a ball and throw it to players to Wolves as part of the Kevin Doyle deal?
I think more training is required as at times they're incompetence is falling into the hands of the opposition.

Actually, when you put it like that the less time the ball is on the pitch the less chance we have of giving it away or conceding.sam1 wrote:jumpers for goalposts wrote:Yes Mr Rosenior, it's the ballboys/girls fault that you can't beat a fullback, cross a ball etcForbury Lion wrote:What's happened? So when they throw two balls onto the pitch there's double the chance of us giving it away or conceding.Forbury Lion wrote:Actually, when you put it like that the less time the ball is on the pitch the less chance we have of giving it away or conceding.
